YESL Pre-Employment Training (PET)

The YESL Pre-Employment Training (PET) is a 7-week, 14-hour after-school program offered during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters at Teen Life Centers and Community Centers. Designed for youth ages 13-18, the program teaches essential job readiness skills such as resume writing, time management, and professional communication, and serves as a prerequisite for paid internships with YESL or Career Explorations. Participants who complete the training may earn a $300 stipend or service learning credits.
