The Urban Journalism Workshop at New York University is a hands-on summer program designed for high school students in the New York City metropolitan area to develop essential journalistic skills through training by NYU faculty and visiting professionals, newsroom site visits, and the production of a multimedia news site.

High school students who are at least 16 years of age and reside and attend high school in the New York City metropolitan area (tri-state area of NY, CT, and NJ).
