UPRISE (Understanding Power, Resisting Injustice, Summer Experience) is a 3-week summer program where rising high school juniors and seniors learn how to become agents of social change while earning 3 college credits. Students spend two weeks living and learning on campus with faculty from the Department of Sociology and Labor Studies Program, connecting with community organizations and leaders, followed by a final week of group projects and virtual or in-person meetings.
