The Summer Surgery Program at UC Irvine offers high school and college students first-hand exposure to advanced minimally invasive surgical technologies, operating room protocols, and live surgical cases. Participants learn surgical skills for open, laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic surgery, obtain BLS certification, engage in anatomy and ultrasound training, and work on a medical innovation project.
