Summer Research Scholars Program (Lillehei Heart Institute)
The Lillehei Heart Institute offers annual summer research scholarships in basic science research related to cardiovascular disease. Scholars are assigned a laboratory and faculty mentor for intensive basic or clinical research, and are introduced to clinical, industrial, and academic medicine through field trips, seminars, and hands-on experiences.
