The Summer High School Internship Program (SHIP) is an eight-week, full-time paid internship at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle designed for rising high school seniors. The program begins with two weeks of hands-on laboratory safety and technique training, followed by six weeks of immersion in a research group paired with a mentor, along with research seminars, professional development workshops, and science presentations.
