A volunteer-run nonprofit makerspace in Everett with 24/7 member access to woodshop, metal shop, 3D printers, laser cutters, and more. Under-18 members are welcome with an accompanying adult. SnoCo Makerspace runs free public 'Maker Wednesday' drop-in nights where anyone can tour the facility, attend lightning-learning workshops, and sign up for membership on the spot — a low-barrier entry for curious teens. Membership starts at $45/mo for digital fabrication or $80/mo for full shop access. A high schooler working on robotics, electronics, or physical product projects could use the space's 3D printers, laser cutters, woodshop, and metal tools to build and iterate hardware — directly applicable to FIRST Robotics, TSA competitions, or an independent capstone project. Teens under 18 are explicitly allowed with an adult in most rooms.
