National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB)

The National Ocean Sciences Bowl is an annual academic competition testing high school students' knowledge of ocean science, marine ecosystems, ocean technology, policy, and coastal management. Teams of 4 to 5 students compete in regional buzzer-style quiz bowls featuring rapid-fire round-robin matches and critical-thinking team challenge questions. Winning regional teams advance to a national championship held in the spring.
