Mentored Experience to Expand Opportunities in Research (METEOR v3)
The Mentored Experiences to Expand Opportunities in Research v 3 program (METEOR v 3) provides a seven-week summer internship for high school students from the Washington, D.C., area and STEM teachers-in-training. Students learn the basics of neuroscience and research through lectures and an immersive mentorship experience in a clinical or translational research lab, concluding with a research presentation.
