Mentor Assistance Program for High School Students (UCSD)
The Mentor Assistance Program (MAP) engages high school students in an eight-month mentoring relationship from fall to spring with an expert from a vast array of disciplines, such as history, marine physical sciences, nanoengineering, biochemistry, pharmacology, and computer science. Students work 1:1 with mentors on class projects, research, science fair projects, or through scholarly readings and discussions.
