The Illinois 4-H State Poultry Judging Contest helps youth improve decision-making and reasoning skills while learning standards of poultry and egg production. Participants judge classes of egg production hens, ready-to-cook fryers, and eggs, competing for prizes and the opportunity to advance to the National 4-H Poultry and Egg Conference.
Eligibility
Open to 4-H members; senior 4-H'ers are 14-18 years of age by January 1 of the current year.
