America's largest online hackathon exclusively for US high school students ages 13–19, with no required theme and an open-ended project format. HackAmerica 2026 ran April 11 – May 23, 2026 entirely online via Devpost. Students ages 13–19 can build any type of project—social impact apps, games, personal tools—using any tech stack they choose. It is beginner-friendly with design and social good tracks. The competition is limited to US high school students only.
