Paid summer arts residency for teens aged 15–17 to train in curatorial practice and co-curate a gallery exhibition at ARTS at King Street Station. Participants work with a professional teaching artist over the summer to select artworks, develop exhibition concepts, and mount a real public show at a prominent city gallery — with artworks they pick potentially entering Seattle's Portable Works Collection. A high schooler interested in art history, curation, or arts administration gets paid stipend work, professional network access, and a published gallery credit. The program ran in 2024 and 2025 and has been described as 'annual'; it is coordinated by the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture in collaboration with city utility departments' 1% for Art funds.
