The Columbia Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) Summer Research Program offers rising high school seniors, recent high school graduates, and undergraduate students hands-on training and research experience in biomedical informatics and health data science. Over seven weeks, participants engage in research projects led by DBMI faculty and graduate students, participate in lab meetings, journal clubs, and mini-courses, gaining computing and research skills while working with real-world health datasets.
