embARC is a four-week summer design academy at UC Berkeley where high school students immerse themselves in architecture, urban design, and sustainable city planning. Students participate in design studios, workshops, and a community-build project for a local nonprofit, earning college credit on an official UC Berkeley transcript while building a strong college application portfolio.
