Berkeley Engineering Summer Machine Learning & AI Research Training (BeSMART)
The UC Berkeley Engineering Summer Machine-learning & AI Research Training (BeSMART) is a 2-week residential program hosted by UC Berkeley's College of Engineering that gives high school students foundational skills in data analytics, machine learning, Python programming, and advanced applications through lectures, hands-on work with real datasets, and a final project.

High school students ages 15-17 by the start of the program with a strong interest in and motivation for learning the content. No prerequisite coursework or knowledge is required.
