The AISES Region 1 Regional Science Fair is hosted in Juneau by the Sealaska Heritage Institute and AISES for high school students in Southeast Alaska. The event encourages participants to conduct and present research projects that incorporate Indigenous science, traditional ecological knowledge, and STEM disciplines. It provides a platform to highlight cultural knowledge alongside modern scientific methodology.
